E-mail to Wendy and Trach's Tweet

Dear Wendy,

I would like to offer you an exclusive interview regarding the current and ongoing research Trach’s is performing to show that we are actively staying ahead of the curve on health concerns. Our customer’s health has and always will remain our top concern.

Since the company’s inception, Trach’s has operated by using environmentally conscious practices in our factories as well as corporate offices.

Along with an exclusive interview, I would like to offer you an online brochure that includes an overview of the candy making process, which will include photos. Also, our candy engineer would like to go through our ingredient list with you to explain what each ingredient means.

I will follow up with you Thursday, April 7th at 10 am to discuss the interview and answer any questions you may have.

Kind regards,

Candy Corn

Some great information here. Careful of trite wording such as "ahead of the curve." Like the inclusion of environmental might want to add safety to that since that is a prime concern. Think it is good to offer an exclusive interview, however, if this becomes a bigger story, you will need to talk to multiple media outlets so something to think about. Perhaps, a first interview would be better. Also, would word as follows: Also would like to provide you with the chance to interview our Chief Candy Engineer.

For the tweet, it is over by 46 characters. I also think it is a little vague at the end - stay tuned for updates might translate to don't eat our candy right now while we figure things out. So maybe reiterating the safety of the candy would be better (hard to do in 140 characters though!)
