What do you think of the trailer? Now would you reconsider your decision on whether to watch the movie or not, after you have watched the trailer? Personally, I said I wouldn't go, but I liked the trailer and most probably I'll change my mind.

I still think it looks like a cheesy melodrama. Adding images to the voices didn't help its credibility for me. Will I see it? I probably wouldn't bother seeing it in theaters but I would consider adding it to my Netflix queue.
HAHA. As one of the people who first posted this RIDICULOUS money-making scheme to our blog, I feel the need to respond. This is so much worse than the first trailer. But you know what, the fact that it has turned into a cheesy melodrama, Allison, is what's making me actually want to see it more. Damn the American Film Industry for knowing how to hit us where it hurts! I think that rather than making this wildly over-the-top drama about poor little once-Harvard-outcast-now-billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, they should just do a documentary that INFORMS people about Facebook and doesn't try to romanticize it! People should be getting accurate knowledge about what happens to the things they put on the Internet versus shots of college parties. Now I have to go see it just so I can really get angry.
I agree with Julie on this point. I mean, do I want to know about the controversies surrounding the creation and ownership of Facebook?Probably not. Now, a documentary about the growth of Facebook, how it has helped businesses grow - or made some crumble - and what should be done or not done on Facebook? That I will definitely go watch and then maybe a second time. So for now, my choice stands: I will not be watching the 'Facebook' movie come October.

I really want to see it. I think it could be really interesting, even more so as Zuckerberg didn't want the movie made in the first place. Perhaps he was concerned about the violation of his privacy?
