I found a very interesting
article on Mashable today about how to make a digital resume stand out. I don't know everyone's preferences on how to present themselves through a resume, but I have actually added color to mine. It isn't obnoxious or uncalled for, it just makes the resume pop.
The resumes in the article blow mine out of the water. Granted, their professions are more digitally focused than most, but if I were a recruiter it would catch my eye.
What do you think? Do you think that these resumes are professional?

I think it's almost necessary now to add a creative touch, whether it be subtle or a complete transformation of the traditional format. Of course, as the article suggests, one should be thoughtful in creating this marketing piece. Think good taste and, to a certain extent, relevance to profession is key.
