Earlier today, Zachary Sniderman from Mashable reported that The New York Times, Gawker.TV, Aol Thrillist, and Foursquare are competing against each other in a virtual ping-pong tournament to support charity.
"BackSpin 2011," is a fun competition that involves the New York techie community joining together to raise money for, "Child’s Play, a non-profit charity that provides books, games and consoles to hospitals across North America."
